i think the push toward women appearing prepubescent in order to be desirable was a psy-op by major players in the dental floss game. terrible dad jokes aside, there was a spate of teenage models being sexualised on the covers and inside big name fashion and beauty magazines in the 80s, have always felt this correlated with the rise of bald cunt. yes the patriarchy but i think the role of vogue, cosmo etc in oppressing the natural state of woman is way understated and these mags almost exclusively edited and curated by women. i had a mate who would not have sex with anyone with pubes. so weird. i do find no hair makes for hmmm, not better as such, but more accurate and nuanced cunnilingus and allows greater visual experience of the differences and intricacies of every delectable aspect of sacred cunt. but then again touching pubes but not the flesh under them can make for tantalising teasing and explore other nuanced layers of anticipation and longing... i naturally gravitate toward women with hair- legs, armpits, crotch I'm not talking sexually but socially, pheremonal dispersal and also mindset, like what is important to them, physical or philosophical, political ecological dunno why but most women i have met in the course of my feral treehugging life are wild and hairy and free of fears of being rejected or judged over it because they are a sisterhood.
the pressure to fit in and be mainstream dominates other sisterhoods but i don't gravitate toward people in impractical clothing so i can't say much about that.
i don't have a preference, whatever people want to do is fine by me, i am concerned for the harm to self that doing or donting pubes may have on people's self esteem and sense of the human world, this is where it ties in with the whole web of conform or die propaganda coming at young minds a million times a day. diversity is everything. personal preference is benign unless pushed upon others.
If your man is NOT willing to wax/rip out, shave or laser burn his pubes away then why would any woman ever agree to 'do it for their man'? They want you looking like a per-pubescent female while they are unshaven with crotch hair thick enough to choke a goat. If they insist on a hairless female crotch then they are addicted to the delusions of porn. That in itself, should be your first clue to get away from them ASAP. Probably will start slapping you next or choking you because ''they saw it on a porn site''. 🤢🤮🤬👹
I have never understood why other people say to shave or not shave. Always though it should be the individual that do or don't. Always thought it was just natural to have and do as you like. It's just hair and should be styled as the individual likes it for themselves. Same as the hair on the head lol. Never even thought others were pressured to do. As to me it be to the woman to decide what she likes. After all it your body and is your choice. If someone elce not like it's there issue not yours. So make it comfortable for your own way.
When we say "the patriarchy", we aren't just talking about men right now. We're talking about a societal structure that has guided the feminine ideal BY men. It's systematic. We're not blaming men in general, but critiquing the system we've ALL been brought up within. It needs to change. We need more open dialogue about the female body and experience. If you don't understand why that might be, please do some further reading or ask questions instead of issuing emotional-fuelled accusations.

A lot of women feel pressured to perform for the male gaze. That's my whole point! Trying to talk about it to make us all feel more like you do.

I disagree entirely!

That is becoming apparent
